读《中国文化读本（英文）》感悟分享交流

1.和同学们一起读《中国文化读本》第一章：孔子的天人之学
孔子有一句名言：天何言哉？四时行焉，百物生焉，天何言哉？Heaven does not speak in words.It speaks through the rotation of the four seasons and the growth of all living things.
2.与同学们一起读《中国文化读本》第二章《自然无为的老子哲学》
老子说：“无为而无不为。”
(Dao or the Way) acts through non-action.
老子说“上善若水”——水具有最高的善。
"The greatest virtue is like water."
To Laozi, humans tend to seek higher positions while water always flows to lower places. Remaining low, level and tranquil, water embraces and reflects everything under heaven.
老子哲学并不是弱者的哲学，他的哲学充满了力量感。老子认为，水在柔弱宁静中，积聚了强大的力量，可以冲破世界上的一切障碍。
3.与同学们一起读《中国文化读本》第三章：《孙子兵法》：百代谈兵之祖
"One can fight and win a hundred wars if one knows both oneself and the enemy."
知己知彼，百战不殆。
"The use of force is a matter of life or death for the soldiers, the people and the country."
“兵者，国之大事，死生之地，存亡之道。”
"There is no fixed way of using force, just as there is no fixed form to water. He who can win a victory by adapting to changes in enemy forces is a master of the art of war."
“兵无常势，水无常形，能因敌变化而取胜者，谓之神。”
4.与同学们一起读《中国文化读本》第四章：天坛：对天的敬畏与感恩
The process of approaching the Heavenly Heart Stone represents the process of approaching Heaven. The Circular Mound Altar has no physical roof, bu t is covered only by the boundless sky.
接近圜丘，就是一步一步走近天心石的过程，它表达了步步近天的意思。圜丘坛的上面没有屋顶，而是一片虚空的苍穹，这就是天。
