The main commodities introduced into the West from China include silk, tea, porcelain, lacquer, etc; Jute, walnut, carrot, melon, grape, pomegranate, amber and so on were mainly introduced into China from the West. During the period of the Ahmen Dynasty, Iran had conducted trade with China through the Silk Road. In addition to importing silk products, Iran also imported raw silk, which was then reprocessed using traditional Sassanian textile methods. From the perspective of archaeological materials, the patterns of Sassanian silk fabrics were very exquisite, which had a profound impact on Byzantium and Central Asia.

The silk road was named after ancient Chinese silk trade, which played an important role in the civilization development of China, South Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Papermaking, gunpowder and compass are all through the silk road. Printing, the four great inventions of ancient China, was also introduced to all parts of the world. Chinese silk, tea and porcelain were all over the world. Europe also exported various commodities and plants through the Silk Road to meet the needs of the Chinese market. -
