瓦尔登湖
The book is all about Thoreau, in order to test his idea that he could live in isolation, and he was dissatisfied with the narrowness of the vision of the lower class farmers, and he decided to live on his own, on his wits and his hands, and so he settled down by a place called Walden Lake, and he built his own log cabin, which, to tell you the truth, I love log cabins myself, and meadows. There were three chairs, a table, a kettle, a bed, and some tools and provisions. He went out to fish and plant beans every day.
It is the most primitive life when one lives in the LAKE, and is occasionally visited by passers-by to talk about the interesting things happening around one.
However, after nearly 200 years, people can't help but feel nostalgic for the reason that Thoreau left the group. In such a noisy world, is there really a treasure place for human beings to live and work in peace and happiness? Do not pay attention to the civilization of modern science and technology, stay away from disputes and struggles, and truly live in harmony with nature.
Walden interpretation is one of the most original ecological life, lush shrubs, can clear the bottom of lakes, fish don't have to worry about overfishing, only in need is a kind of belief, a hoe, force is not big, can't create skyscrapers, but the fact is, on a small piece of land is the deep affection, tapping and digging slowly, the rain, the crops growth.
Thoreau was doing something that everyone could do, but in the end, why do so many people want to follow suit and then give up? The reason? It's complicated. After hundreds of years, can we still let go of everything? All I can say is, Thoreau is doing what we want to do, but it's only Thoreau who knows what it's really like.
