  Jane Eyre was a brave, kind, patient and independent person. Uninfluenced by her two Cousins, she was not obsessed with power, but had a clear understanding of her role. Whether in her aunt's home, or in the orphanage, or in the Rochester's, she was always dissatisfied with her oppression, and strove for more rights.
