The Value of Life = Self-esteem + Love

TheJuly

"Jane Eyre" is a very autobiographical novel, which explains to us the theme of the value of life = self-esteem + love in plain but shocking language. This is a novel with a love theme, but it is not vulgar. The protagonist, Jane Eyre, is a pure-hearted and thoughtful new society woman, who lives at the bottom of society and suffers. Her life experiences are sympathetic, but her stubborn character and courageous pursuit of equality, happiness and spirit are appreciated.

Customs do not equal morality. Sanctimonious is not the same as religion. Criticizing the former is not the same as attacking the latter. There is no doubt that Charlotte is the new woman of her time. She dared to call out the mainstream culture of the time and mock the high society at that time. Jane Eyre in Charlotte's pen, brave, intelligent, sharp, straightforward, pursuing equality and freedom, yearning for true love, but principled, bottom-line, do not follow the trend. Money cannot measure a person's character and worthiness. The value of a person lies in what he sees, what he does, and whether he has self-respect and self-love.
