  In "The Time Machine," the Time Traveler encounters the Palace of Green Porcelain, an elaborate and beautiful building, during his journey to the future. He initially admires its beauty and grandeur but quickly realizes that it is devoid of any practical purpose or function. The Time Traveler then becomes frustrated with the human race's ability to create such meaningless structures and begins to question their priorities and values.

  When time traveler    reach the Palace of Green Porcelain, they realize that it is dilapidated. It’s immediately clear that the building was once a museum, as there are skeletons of extinct creatures on display.
