  Ink Wash Painting is the representative of China painting, that is, "Chinese painting" in a narrow sense, and spread to other parts of East Asia. The basic ink painting is only water and ink, black and white, but the advanced ink painting also has meticulous flower-and-bird painting, which is sometimes called color ink painting. The characteristics of China's ink painting are: realism near, abstraction far away, subtle colors and rich artistic conception.
