The Time Traveller devoted his attention to his dinner, and displayed the appetite of a tramp.The Medical Man smoked a cigarette, and watched the Time Traveller through his eyelashes .The Silent Man seemed even more clumsy than usual, and drank champagne with regularity and determination out of sheer nervousness. At last the Time Traveller pushed his plate away, and looked round us."I suppose I must apologize, "he said. "I was simply starving.I've had a most amaz- ing time."He reached out his hand for a cigar, and cut the end. "But come into the smoking-room. It 's too long a story to tell over greasy plates." And ringing the bell in passing, he led the way into the adjoining room. I am no specialist in mineralogy, and I went on down a very ruinous aisle running parallel to the first hall I had entered. Apparently this section had been devoted to natural history, but everything had long since passed out of recognition. A few shrivelled and blackened vestiges of what had once been stuffed animals, desiccated mummies in jars that had once held spirit, a brown dust of departed plants: that was all! I was sorry for that, because I should have been glad to trace the patent readjustments by which the conquest of animated nature had been attained.

李沁萱Most likely, when writing poems, the classic poets neither wrote carelessly nor wrote many of them. Once they had decided to write a poem, they would strive to create the best work possible. As for philosophical substance, the argument and its aesthetic appeal should be well integrated; when it came to narration, the logic of the story was made perfectly clear, and descriptions were such that the thing described would appear natural and lifelike.

王文仟Must a girl be ladylike? Joe thought the action of whistling regarded as "boy's tricks" is interesting but the other grils told her that it's rude and a ladylike gril should not do that. However, in the modern life, let's think the question carefully and seriously. No matter you are a man or a women, if one action is impolite, whoever should not do that. The meaning of a action won't change what with the sex and gril should not be limitted by all kinds of rules. A girl makes a mistake so she should be criticized and correted, so as a boy.
