《八十天环游地球》读后感一
张嘉予
When l saw Mr.Phileas Fogg for the first time,I simply considered him as an mysterious men. However, with the plot moving,I find him kind-hearted.He talked very little and did everything so exactly that no servant before "Jean Passpartout"could satisfied him.He is a flawless English gentleman, wise, knowledgeable, and,of course, good mannered. But he always behaved offish, which made me dislike him in the beginning.
Facts proved that I was wrong. When Mr.Phileas Fogg and Jean travels to India,he tasted a dish called "jungle rabbit" made by cats. Then he interrogated the cook as follows:"Cats were formly considered,In India,as sacred animals. That was a good time.""For the cats,my lord?""Perhaps for the travelers as well!"What impressed me most is the last word he said.I believe that he has more deep understanding , reflection, and sympathy for the society.I've became curious about the following-up.
