After reading the book ---the spirit of Chinese people which was written by Guys Hongming ,I have a deep understanding of the Chinese people and their civilization and the spirit it contains.The most of the Chinese people use emotion to live . Our most obvious characteristics are gentle，kind and polite .Our goodness comes from within ，not from some god we believe in. We tend to perceive and understand nature with our minds. When dealing with others，we are gentle and polite not only we want to make a good impression on each other，but also we want each to feel comfortable.Our manners are not a formal for rigid indoctrination.We feel others with our hearts，and we hope to make others' hearts echo us through etiquette.
