During my winter vocation , I read the <the spirit of chinese people>,here is something I thought about this book.

  The spirit of the Chinese people is gu hongming's representative work of promoting Chinese traditional culture to the west. The book is divided into four parts: introduction, introduction, text and appendix. The introduction elaborates "the good people religion"; The first chapter of the text is on "the Chinese Chapter 2 on "Chinese women", chapter 3 on "Chinese language", chapter 4 on "John Smith in China", chapter 5 on "a famous Sinologist", and chapters 6 and 7 on "sinology"

  In this book, Gu elaborates on his views on Chinese people, Chinese culture and western disclosure. In this book, he vividly depicts that Chinese people live in a spiritual life: "gentle is the first spirit of the Chinese people. Gentle is not a gentle nature, nor is it a weak yielding, but it is not tough, harsh, rude or violent. The real Chinese may be rough, but there is no roughness in rough; The real Chinese may be ugly, but his ugliness is not terrible; Real Chinese may be vulgar, but there is no aggression in vulgar; The real Chinese may be stupid and ignorant, but there is no absurdity in ignorance. The real Chinese may be cunning, but there is no evil in his cunning.

  Firstly, this book makes me understand that a real Chinese person has an adult mind and a child's heart. Therefore, the Chinese spirit is the spirit of eternal youth, is the national immortal spirit. China is a state full of ceremonies and kindness ,which make it different than most of the other countrys and unique. As a student in China ,I am supposed to be like a real Chinese people and study hard.

  Secondly ,this book tells me that Chinese. do have a lot of short ,but there is still something make them .For example, some Chinese people can not control there voice in the public area, behave badly when they are appeaciating the articles in museums, throw rubbish in the street...But all of these can not bury a Chinese man’s heart of loving his country.

  As for the author of this book ,Gu Hongming, Unlike other scholars, did not attack the Chinese people, saying our bad habits, how our country is uncompetitive, how the world looked down upon.In his book<The Spirit of Chinese people>, The Chinese people he depicts are so lovely, kind and worthy of respect. His love for Chinese people is beyond expression.

  In today's world, China is not a developed country. It still has a long way to go before it becomes strong. This is the mission we need to fulfill. We will create the most favorable conditions for our future with the spirit of our Chinese people and the precious spiritual wealth left by our ancestors.

Chinese spirit is the spirit of eternal youth, is the immortal spirit of the nation. The sleeping lion will woke up again and the spirit of the Chinese people will continue forever!
