China,a mysterious country, with thousands of year's history, has it's own culture and spirits.Contrasted with other nations' ,chinese spirits has a great deal of diffrences.
As for the Japnese etiquette, strict requests are common. When we meet someone the first time,it's better make a bow 45degree .Japnese women prefer draw their eyebrow with certain radian. However,in Chinese etiquette,we don't need such strict laws.
Apart from the diffrence between etiquette,we have another bright spot, that is ,we own various types of religion believes. The most famous four religions are Buddhism,Taoism,Mohammedanism,Christian. Thus, chinese culture has the feature of swallowing anything. In China, you can choose to belieive one religion,or believe no one. Both are OK.We respect every types of religion, without discrimination.
Unlike other country's omnigenous believes,Chinese people have already receive a concept, that is ,royalism, which is absolutely be royal to one's emperor. It's not very just and sound that a lot of people involve Confucious while criticizing the traditionnal thought on loyal to monarch. In the ancient time ,people don't know other monarch like God,they only aware of emperor. As for this, lots of famous people give up their lives, only for protecting their emperor .It is said morality and justice .Just like Wentianxiang's poem,“辛苦遭逢起一经,干戈寥落四周星,山河破碎风飘絮,身世浮沉雨打萍。惶恐滩头说惶恐,零丁洋里叹零丁。人生自古谁无死,留取丹心照汗青。”It's this belief that makes him immortal . He laid down his life for justice ,which worthy of my respect.
In my opinion,Confucianism should be made China's national religion;other scholars insist that it's impossible to simply turn a philosophy into a religion. To some degree, our traditional culture ,which include three core ideas --Buddhism,Taoism,and Confucianism shouldn't be casted.Although China has no state religion, study of Confucianism and Taoism, two conflicting philosophies that underlie much of modern Chinese thought is mandatory in China's education system.Of course what Westerners now call Confucianism has changed over the years ,just like the other major philosophies that have flourished in the East:Buddhism and Taoism.Besides, religious fanaticism can be difficult to picture if you're a Chinese believer inclined to pick and choose the most pragmatic precepts from Buddhism ,Taoism, and Confucianism
As the words written in the book ,"there must be honor even amoung thieves ".That is true .In China ,there's an idiom ,which means no one picks up and pockets anything lost on the road .Also,we must start to build this culture of integrity in the educational system ,particularly in universities.Although ,someone has not religion belief, faith undergrids moral principles. For an example, the only moral tenet governing the conduct of bussiness in the shop was that the goods should be genuine and the price fair ,which is the power of morality. The Chinese spirits only requires we become people of extraodinary character --something anyone can do.There is one quality I should added :perseverance.
As a Chinese student ,I’ll study hard ,and take the Chinese spirit seriously .Let us spread Chinese culture, and be the inheriyor of the Chinese spirits.
