《中国人的精神》阅读后感悟
After reading Mr. Gu Hongming's "The Spirit of the Chinese," I had to cultivate his accomplishment and I also benefited a lot from this book. Mr. Gu Hongming used his understanding of China to promote Confucianism to the world and expounded the Chinese in his eyes.
The book is divided into five parts. The first part says that in the early stages of society, human beings must use natural materials to control human passion. The second part is a comparison of Confucian culture and European religion. The third part is about the marriage system and feudal thought in Chinese history. The fourth part is written in Chinese and Chinese academics. The fifth part is the final summary. From this we can feel the scholars of that era's views on foreign culture and Chinese culture.
What impressed me the most in this book is that Mr. Gu has always believed that the Chinese have an unspeakable elegance. He believes that the Chinese have an unspeakable elegance. For this point of view, he also cited an example. He once read a foreign friend who has lived in two countries and commented that as a foreigner, the longer he lives in Japan, the more he hates Japanese, and the longer they live in China, the more they like Chinese. I don’t care whether his evaluation of people in other countries is correct, but what is certain is that the Chinese are indeed very gentle.
But I also think that some of his ideas are wrong. For example, he agrees with the idea of loyalty and the system of confession. These are not suitable ideas in today's society.
