Little Prince

The pilot had an accident with his plane in the Desert of Sahara, a thousand miles from any human habitation. Something was broken in his engine. And he had with himself neither a mechanic nor any passengers. It was very hot and he had scarcely enough drinking water to last a week. He was alone. The distance is so long that rescuers can not find the pilot in the short week. They use UAV to search the Desert of Sahara for the lost pilot. The UAV is equipped with a heat-seeking device and GPS positioning system. Even at night it can succeed in discovering the lost people. It can fast find the pilot and tell the rescue workers the position of the lost people. After finding the pilot, they will load the UAV with some food and water for his survival. UAV can recharge one another and has heat-resistant performance. However, the battery power of UAV is not big enough to keep the UAV flying the whole day. The rescuers envision a fleet of fuel mules that could work on sand, to charge up the UAV and return. They can also use trained animals, such as ravens, who have an excellent eyesight and are faster than people, to look for the lost.
