《阿拉丁与神灯》书评

To be honest, I don't like this story. Maybe it is because I have seen the movies about Aladdin, which not only shows the bravery of Aladdin, but also shapes the characters of princess successfully. And by comparasion, I think this fiction is very boring. First, I don't like the characters of Aladdin in this book. He is just a man who is careless, idle and lacking in responsibility. He loves the princess just because of her beauty. But he doesn't express his love in a right. He uses the power of Genie to transporte the bed containing the vizier's son and the princess and sleeps with the princess, which frightens the princess. Is it love? I don't think so. If you really love a girl, at least you need to respect her and consider her feeling first. What's more, he is not brave at all. He relys on the Genie to get everything. He doesn't do anything to marry the princess. Even the king's approval to bestow his daughter on Aladdin is due to the sincerity of Aladdin's mother, not Aladdin himself. Even after he misses the princess again, what he cares about fisrt is what happened about the lamp, not the safety of the princess. Through the fiction, the description of the princess is very few. Maybe it is because its aim is to shape the figure of Aladdin. But in the plot which describes how the princess murders the magician, we also can notice that the princess is clever and brave. In a word, I don't think it is a good book. At least the character shaping of the main role is not good enough.
