  In my view,I think Marianne doesn't like Mr.Brandon.She thought Mr.Brandon was an old, tasteful, respectable man.And then she believe that Mr.Brandon may well have outlived real feeling and ture enjoyment,at his age he should have nothing to do with marriage.
