Recently I have read a book, The Little Prince, which tellsus that a pilot had an accident with his plane in the Desert of Sahara and came across a little prince. The little prince, who came from another planet, told the pilot about his adventures to six different planets. And these adventures are relevant to the adults' world but they're expressed from a childish viewpoint. They became more and more familiar with each other.
The little prince is the leading character. He has his own planet where he has two active volcanoes, one extinct volcano and his precious flower. Nevertheless, he plans to leave his planet and leave the proud flower to go to other planets.
There are quite a few people from all walks of life living in six different planets. They have their own characteristics: conceited man, a geographer, a business man and so on. He doesn't like adults' world. In particular, he hates some people who have many bad qualities.
Nevertheless, most importantly, he comes across the fox, which asks him to tame it. He learns how to deal with the relationship between the proud flower and himself from the words the fox says. He realizes that his existence to his flower is unique and goes back to his planet.
The little prince carries the author's wish of returning to the pure planet. In his eyes, the relationship between people and people is direct. There aren't many other things in this kind of relationship. He is just a little child, who doesn't have purpose. He considers everything from a childish perspective. And he doesn't care the number to which the adults attach much importance. Later, I know much about why the author wrote this kind of book. When the author was a little boy and he drew quite a few pictures, he was glad to share his pictures with the adults. Nevertheless, the adults usually ignored him and his drawings. They merely cared about the face value instead of getting the accurate meaning from children. Therefore, the author was disappointed. Every child shouldn't be forgotten by adults. Every adult should remember the past.
After reading this book, I look back my childhood, a period that was awash with all kinds of fantastic ideas and dreams. Children are innocent and carefree. No one should kill the children's ideas. Nevertheless, with time going by, I become more and more impetuous and forget the original purpose of my life. Sometimes, being an adult means losing good qualities of being a child. How can we don't forget the qualities of being a child? This book gives us answers.
The fairy tale is written not only for children, but also for adults. It carries love and hope. In this book, we can find the truth of the life by remembering our purest childhood and subsequently we can live a pure life.
