《听盐生长的声音：80后作家短篇小说集（双语版）》由香港大学中文学院副教授宋耕、中国人民大学文学院副教授杨庆祥主编，收选张悦然、笛安等15位80后知名作家的短篇小说。本书邀请了来自美国、澳大利亚、中国香港的汉学家及学者为本书提供地道、精良的英文译文，力图将中国80后作家的写作生态完整呈现给海内外读者，并从中透视中国年轻一代作家对人生和社会的思考与见解。

The Sound of Salt Forming： Short Stories by the Post-'80s Generation in China is edited by Song Geng, an associate professor from the School of Chinese Studies, Hong Kong University and Yang Qingxiang, an associate professor from School of Liberal Arts, Renmin University of China. This anthology includes short stories of Zhang Yueran, Di An and other famous young writers of China. The translators are also professional and erudite. From this anthology, we can see how these writers think about life and socioty.

作者简介

张悦然，女，1982年生于山东济南，毕业于新加坡国立大学，现为中国人民大学文学院教师。代表作品有短篇小说集《葵花走失在1890》、《十爱》，长篇小说《樱桃之远》、《水仙已乘鲤鱼去》、《誓鸟》。作品被翻译成英语、西班牙语、日语、德语等多国文字。

Zhang Yueran (1982- ) born in Jinan, Shandong Province, gruaduated from National University of Singapore. Now she works as a teacher in School of Liberal Arts, Renmin University of China. Her series of short stories are translated into English, Spanish, Japanese, German and other languages.
