The alienation of art can occur between the creator and the viewer. Especially in music and painting. It's like the Chinese story of Bo Le looking at a horse. A creator can only be an artist if he meets someone who can appreciate his work. For example, the story of Yu Boya and Zhong Ziqi in ancient China. Yu Boya played the song in his heart, and Zhong Ziqi felt the same as if he had known each other for a long time. After the death of Zhong Ziqi, Boya broke the instrument and was desensitized to music .This is the loneliness of art, being for the one who knows. Just like The American artist Alex Katz, it is his wife who gives him the soul of his creation and the driving force of his creation, so he specially paints pictures for his wife, accumulating them day by day, lasting for 25 years and finally gaining the recognition of the world. It is known that art is glorious because of those who know it. And this alienation may be called the alienation of the cognizant effect.

For me,perdormamce art is an alienation for the performer and the audience . Because for performance artists, they immerse in their spiritual world during the performance whatever the audience can understand them or not; for the audience, they regard the show as an performance rather than the reality. What I want to mention is an art performance named rhythm 0 by the mother of the mother of performance artist Marina Abramov. She anesthetized the body parts below her head, and tolerate the audience do whatever they wanted to her within 6 hours. Some people presented roses to her, others pricked her belly with the thorns of roses, and even some else finally tore off her clothes and took nude photos of her. The scene was out of control for a time, and she was full of fear and pain, but she still kept performing. Finally, the majority of responses from the audience indicates that the audience may kill her out of the weakness of human nature for the sake of performance(they are irresponsible in this show). So in my point of view there is an alienation between the performer and the audience.

Finally, the majority of behaviors of the audience indicates that the audience without responsibility may kill her out of the weakness of human nature for the sake of performance. So in my point of view there is an alienation between the performer and the audience.

Perhaps one commonplace alienation that faced artists is unpopularity. Vincent van Gogh is undoubtedly one of the most influential artists in the human history, but he was never famous as a painter during his lifetime and constantly struggled with poverty. He sold only one painting while he was alive: The Red Vineyard which went for 400 francs in Belgium seven months before his death. As a revolutionary in art, Vincent had the genius for expressing his sentiments through painting and a strong artistic conviction of his own, which makes him great in his afterlife but sadly makes him unpopular during his lifetime.

The reason why art is art lies in its reflexivity and the fact that it can trigger some long-lasting and difficult complex feelings in the hearts of the audience with some image or feeling. To put it simply, it is "humanizing" : Art can make people feel more like a human being. Designers engaged in pure creative design work, due to the inevitable disconnection with the implementation of the project, resulting in a decline in responsibility, after the end of the previous design work design works no longer belong to the designer himself, So designers are no longer willing to devote a lot of effort to it. And I do not really understand some phenomenon in Tik-Tok.

As for the broadest sense of art, we can include music, dancing, and fine arts. Since I am not professional in any of the above genre, I will just express my humble view.    I experience lots of alination in dancing, I don't know why so many young adults love Korean Dance that much. In my perspective, they have neither any sence of beauty nor make people feel comfortable. Whereas, our Chinese style of dancing, including traditional court dancing and folk dancing, they are so stretched and intoxicated. My don't actually understand why so many people like those Korean Dancing, and maybe that is a kind of alienation.

For instance, 药水哥is a famous person on the internet. He as a foo known as acting like a fool and making others laughing. Recently, there is a rap yv programs called中国新说唱 invite 药水哥 to join, and give him a pass in the testing of rap. I think this is an alienation of art because rap is a verse of art and 药水哥knows nothing about this kind of art.

The alienation in art, I first think of the abstractionism like Picasso. His works do not belong to the mainstream of aesthetic, or the beauty that can be accepted by public. Picasso through the abstract way of painting to convey some of his artistic ideas, as far as I am concerned, if there is no professional interpretation, I am very difficult to understand and appreciate. I think this is a kind of alienation.
