I have some puzzle about some words such as the “typically”and the “defeat”.I know that the “typically” is like the meaning of “characteristic”, but “typically”has an another meaning——“normally”.Obviously, “characteristic”is an opposite meaning to the”normally”.And the “defeat” means an unsuccessful ending when it is a noun.But it means beating sb. when it is a verb.It’s amazing.......
