After seeing The Great Gatsby, I still can’t understand why Gates would want to be with Daisy after seeing her for who she really is?

  Gates’s life had failed to ignite his passion except for Daisy, so even though he knew Daisy was poison, he had to take drugs to stay alive. Otherwise, he’s gonna wish he was dead and gone.
