  As its name suggests, the book is about human pride and prejudice. The main character Elisabeth is the daughter of a small landowner. She is independent, strong, generous, and unmarried. The other main character Mr. Darcy is an aristocrat in the upper class of England. He is talent and morality.

  I don't think there is a class gap between them, because Elizabeth's father was also a country squire, and the difference between them is probably only a matter of how much money they earn.
