The Scarlet Letter
Hawthorne's brushwork in the blood word is gloomy and solemn. All kinds of complicated symbols, repeated images and complex emotions perfectly show the writer's temperament.
The reading experience of this book is not easy. In the process of reading, it will inevitably produce a sense of suffocation after the heart is clenched. Especially in the last part of the novel, Hawthorne asked Dimmesdale to confess passionately and consecutively during his sermon, and let the priest bearing the consequences of secular sins and desires complete his self prayer and redemption in front of Boston citizens. The plot of the scarlet letter is as deep and painful as Tchaikovsky's First Piano Concerto, which contains rebellion and Reflection on human "original sin".
