  The Chinese characters are shaped by millions of grand people in ancient and current,and they have history of nearly five thousand years,so they have a smell of history and art,which English words haven't.

  1. Chinese characters are typical and vivid,English words are more abstract.they can't discrabe characters' historical background and personal ideology   totally.

  I think Chinese character is a wealthy treasure to Chinese culture.It is a symbol of Chinese culture.Chinese character can better express our culture.It seems to have vitality.But English is only used to communicate and record.It doesn't have the ability to express our culture and feelings.
