Which concepts do you think is the most effective strategy in Sunzi’s Art of War?
李龙潇
I think the second concepts"One can fight and win a hunder wars if one know oneself and the enery"is the most effective one.As we all know ,Napoleon is a genius of the war ,he always make a excelent pian before a war ,which helps him won lots of wars. But he don't know himself well, that's why he finally failed. In Sun's opinion, Napoleon knows the enemy well but too arroganced to know about himself. As for it ,I think the second concept is the most sffsctive one.

李映奇it is very important tohave a clear concept ,"Planning before going to warBefore entering a war, one must compare and analyze all factors of both sides. These mainly include: morale, climate, terrain, commanders, and rules."Morale" refers to the approval or disapproval of the people. The army that has the approval of the people will gain their support, while one without endorsement will lose their support. "Climate" refers to seasonal conditions at the time of war. "Terrain" refers to the distance (far or near), position (ease or difficulty of access), size (large or small), and height (high or low) of the topography for war. "Whoshould carry out orders? What are the respective strengths of the soldiers? Who is responsible for training the troops? Who decides rewards or punishments?
