Discuss about Laizi's philosophy of Non-action
Modern people are going through so called "spiritual crisis". How do you interpret Laozi's philosophy of Non-action? Compared with Confucious's idea, Laozi offered different solution to society. And they both have a lot of followers till now. Could you discuss about the difference between them? And do they still relevant today? Do they give you any inspirations when faced with challenges?

220440113 肖昊I think Laozi's philosophy of Non-action is the guarantee of " naturalness",which is an inportant concept of following the way of nature. It means that humans should not try to change anything natural. I think it is suitable for the current suitation, such as environmental crisis, the confict among contries. So ,without doubt, his minds are still relevent today. Confucious's ideas are quite different for Laozi's minds .He advocated "ren"and"li" ,as a famous human norm, it pourd something valuable into our national culure. He thought we should do our utmost to affect the world in order to make our society better. All in all , they are both the quintessence of the form of our nation. when I am faced with difficulties, both of them will make me filled with power and vigor .

马瑜航In my opinion, That's not total inaction, but inaction. 1. Confucius is in favor of "doing something" and hopes to join the WTO, while Laozi advocates "doing nothing" and hopes to be born. 2. Confucius takes heaven as the supreme existence, highlighting the historical background; Laozi regards Tao as the supreme being, showing the vision of the universe. 3. Confucius takes people as the center and emphasizes people's sociality; Lao Tzu is not human-centered, but attaches importance to human nature.

豆瑞卿No one does what he or she does. In fact, this is a behavior without subjective assumptions. All behaviors follow objective laws. Inaction is a behavior that conforms to natural science, is a reasonable behavior, and therefore is a positive behavior. Differences between Confucius and Laozi: 1. Confucius is a Confucian school, while Laozi is a Taoist school. 2. Confucius thought is people-centered and emphasizes the sociality of human beings; Lao Tzu's thought is not people-centered, but attaches importance to human nature. The connection between Taoism and Confucianism: the commonness of ideas, the mutual penetration of theoretical content and the commonness of the overall cultural situation. When faced with challenges, it will tell us that we need to move forward bravely, take responsibility bravely and be determined.

陈华侨Lao Tzu's thought advocates the objective law of nature. He believes that everything has both sides and can be transformed from opposition.Confucius advocated taking politics as morality. When encountering difficulties, we should let nature take its course and not act too hastily. We should calmly try to solve the problem.

张兆希In my opinion, Lao zi's philosophy is to follow the laws of nature, while Confucius pays attention to aesthetic education and propriety. They still play a huge role today and cannot be replaced. I think Confucius' theory is applicable to us. Let's study harder and face life more actively. Lao zi's philosophy applies to others, and we should don't pay attention to others behavior.
