Discuss about Laizi's philosophy of Non-action

Modern people are going through so called "spiritual crisis". How do you interpret Laozi's philosophy of Non-action? Compared with Confucious's idea, Laozi offered different solution to society. And they both have a lot of followers till now. Could you discuss about the difference between them? And do they still relevant today? Do they give you any inspirations when faced with challenges?

  Ithink Laozi'opinion is close to confucious's.On the surface,it is diong no thing which is opposed to the Confucious's opinion of actively entering the wworld, ceasrlessly striving for self-improvement and making contrubutions.But it is not right.The understanding of Laozi's point is completely deviating from the original starting point of Laozi. ​

  Laozi's thought of doing nothing refers to: let things develop freely according to their own necessity, and keep them in a natural state in line with Tao, without interfering with it, and without influencing the natural course of things with action. The basic idea of Taoism is not only to govern without doing anything, but also the basic method of practice. There are twelve references to inaction in the Tao Te Ching. The third chapter says, "If there is no action, there is no cure." There are 68 references to inaction in the South China Classic. "Zhuangzi · Ying Emperor" said that "natural things without tolerance of private Yan." Taoist inaction means that the monarch should not fight with the people, conform to the people, do not act in vain. Du Guangting "Tao Te Jing Zhushu" said: "no reason, its great zai.
