Filled with a desire for knowledge and a yearning for freedom, ten-year-old Jane arrived at Lowood School, a charity school for abandoned children. However, it was a school with strict rules and extremely difficult conditions, often starving, freezing and beating and punishment. Jane Eyre was punished by the snarky Principal Blokhurst for breaking the slate, stood on a stage of shame, and denigrated her as a "liar, bad-hearted" girl in front of the whole school, asking everyone to guard against her. However, strong as Jane, with the relief and help of her mentor Miss Tampol, she not only investigated and collected evidence in time to clarify her shame, but also realized the peace and power that forgiveness brings to people under the advice and influence of her good friend Helen.
