After the death of the slave owner, the slave was buried with the slave owner as a burial object. Terracotta warriors and horses are made into burial objects in the shape of soldiers and horses (chariots, war horses, soldiers).

This remarkable feat of art and engineering was buried with the emperor in 210-209 BCE and was discovered in 1974 by farmers digging a well near Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, China. The Terracotta Army is located within the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor, also known as the Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum.
