Women's trials are accomplished by religion and lawe,veryone in the book, except Mrs. Hibbins, is confined to such an environment. Any other idea will be regarded as the temptation of the devil. This is the land of New England, the paradise that the Puritans dreamed of building. But too many rules and precepts, but it is the annihilation of human nature. All religious taboos are imagined out of thin air. Religious beliefs do not mean lofty beliefs, and sometimes beliefs do not mean that one can stick to life. The true lofty belief is to be strict with oneself and lenient with others. All the disputes of belief and doctrine are the disputes of power and interests. Only the pursuit of the ultimate happiness of mankind and the people is commendable. From the abortion of primitive society, hunger, cold, sickness and incest to the longevity, delicacy, warmth, comfort and love of modern society, human civilization is spiraling upward with each passing dynasty, the disappearance of Empire and the awakening, democracy and independence of the people.
