中国人的精神 决赛作品 (张文叶 E40)

张文叶
The Chinese are unique and the Chinese spirit is unique. However, in the era when Ku Hongming was in the same place, the spirit of the traditional Chinese was suppressed by the so-called advanced Western civilization, and everyone shouted. This old man’s temperament is intended to find some valuable things from the tradition to the Chinese people at the time to prove the superiority of the tradition and to shape the progressive, modern Chinese.
Ku Hongming was born in Nanyang, studied in the Western Ocean, married in the East Ocean, and was in Beiyang. He was proficient in nine languages, such as English, French and German. However, he did not accept the Western individualism. Instead, he started from the Confucian culture. The collapse of the European civilization opened up a prescription. He is indeed an outdated Hongru, criticizing Western culture, but winning the respect and respect of Westerners; trying to advocate and adhere to Chinese traditional culture, but by the ridicule and spurn of compatriots, behind the intertwined contradictions, that is the end The imprint of the feudal era. From the perspective of his contemporaries, some of his ideas are undoubtedly quite advanced.
The Chinese have a natural "gentle" attribute, which is the golden mean. This is the basic spirit of the Chinese people. Specifically, because the real Chinese are a child-like and mature person, they live a spirit sexual life, that is, emotional or human friendly life. When most people cast aside the ignorance and despicability of the Chinese people, he did the opposite and explored the "docile" nature of the Chinese people's deep character. . Wenshun as "domesticated animals", not violent, not harsh, not rough, not violent, "The real Chinaman may be ugly, but there is no hideousness. The real Chinaman may be vulgar, but there is no aggressiveness,no blatancy in his vulgarity. The real Chinaman may be stupid, but there is no absurdity in his stupidity. The real Chinaman may be cunning, but there is no deep malignity in his cunning.”
As a citizen of the passive side of militarism, when the nationals pursued the western ideological upsurge, Ku Hongming only stood still, staring at the cold, not only the grievances of the weak, but boldly pointed out to foreigners: "Europeans will be in China - - In the Chinese civilization - find this new moral power." He is confident. His self-confidence stems from a profound understanding of China's 2,500-year-old traditional culture, especially Confucian culture. The realization of moral power does not depend entirely on the religion in the literal sense of Europe, but can be extended to a broader system of beliefs, that is, what he believes to exist in the hearts of Chinese people for thousands of years, religion of good citizenship.
However, the spirit of the Chinese is Confucian, but not all Confucian. This book owes the cultural influence of the Chinese to Confucius's Confucianism, and raises the name to the special status of the so-called "national religion", but ignores the Taoist and Legalist who also have important shaping effects on the human nature of the country. The idea of genre, such an analysis on the one hand puts too much emphasis on the status of Confucianism, on the one hand, it reduces the richness of the national character, it is regrettable.
In today's China, cultural conflicts and integration still exist, and the national personality faces the same choice and confusion in the impact of foreign culture and traditional concepts. "After the present, it is still the past." The radicalization of the New Culture Movement failed to fill the cultural gap after the destruction of Confucian traditions. This work still needs to be done together today. Ku Hongming can be said to be the first step to take the first step in cultural self-confidence. This step is both good and bad, but it is always a direction of thinking.
