Compared with other countries,he discusses all aspect of true Chinese and Chinese culture in details.He also describes that what Chinese men and women should be in the ideal.But from my point of view,part of them are wrong.They are feudal thoughts,especially some points about perfect women. The aura of genius cannot hide the immaturity of the mind,but most of the book’s thoughts are profound and unique. Ever thought has its age sex and limitation.
In that time , when most Chinese wanted to study Western culture to save China,wanted to abandon the whole of Chinese culture and totally westernize,Mr.Gu writed this book to let people know the advantages of Chinese culture. Why Confucianism can be passed down for years , why China can become one of the four ancient civilizations?
