Great Spirits
Before I talk about the book ,I want to talk about Mr. Gu. In my ever image ,Mr. Gu is always a stubborn and conservative person. He opposes the New Culture Movement, opposes everyone who has an advanced mind. However ,after I read the book of"the Spirit of Chinese People".I see an entirely different Mr. Gu, a person who really care about the destiny of China, a person who really love peace love this world. The Spirit of Chinese People, a book which emphasis the spirits of Chinese righteousness, tack and other nice qualities by narrating Chinese women, Chinese language, Chinese spirits and other aspects. In this book, it narrates the misfortune result from western countries entirely take the religion and policeman as a way to control ordinary people. And compare it with the success of China maintain the society's stabilization by the use of confucianism. From this, to point out that western countries' militarism In China will destroy confucianism , will let those western countries which In turmoil now lose a great way to replace religion and policeman to keep them away From chaos. I was moved by the concern of China expressed by Mr. Gu. His book. I see a brand New Mr. Gu.
