When I finished reading the book, I had lu xun in my mind. They live in different times but share similar cultural ideas——Strong patriotic spirit 

     This book explains Chinese spirit and reveals its value from three aspects of Chinese etiquette and Chinese language.

In the first aspect, Chinese people, Confucian culture is strongly advocated by Mr. Gu in this book, and the core of Confucian culture is courtesy. Therefore, Mr. Gu believes that the most lovely point of Chinese spirit influenced by Confucian culture is gentleness, which is not tough, harsh, rude or violent. Some may be vulgar and cunning and ignorant, but not aggressive is not terrible. In the second aspect, Chinese etiquette, the Chinese nation has been a country of etiquette since ancient times. The ancients said, "if you don't learn propriety, you can't make it". Mr. Gu proposed that Chinese people pay attention to interpersonal communication and treat each other with more courtesy. The third aspect is Chinese. Many people think that Chinese has no rules to follow and it is very difficult to learn. In the eyes of Mr. Gu, Chinese is a language of the soul, while Chinese people are people with "childlike hearts and adult minds".

In the whole book, the spirit of Chinese people emphasized by Mr. Gu is really shocking. As Chinese youth, we should inherit this spirit and carry forward the Chinese civilization, which is the responsibility and mission of contemporary youth.
