The Spirit of the Chinese people, also known as The period of Spring and Autumn,is one of the most influentional representstive work of Hongming Gu in English,which touched my heart deeply.The writer writed the spiritual life of Chinese and the value of Chinese traditional culture in this book.
After reading the book,I realize what's the true spirit of the Chinese people.Chinese have obvious character and the spiritual world.On the one hand,most of the Chinese are good and honest.We Chinese always help others and have virtues, such as diligence,brave,enthusiastic...On the other hand,sometimes Chinese are so kind that we look weak in other's eyes.But everyone is not perfect.And in my mind,it's precisely this character the makes Chinese people more lovely.
I hope the spirit of Chinese people can inflence more people and the foreigners can lok China and Chinesse people more odjective.
