读书有感

 After reading this book, I searched for some knowledge about it. Since Late Qing Dynasty, the image of China had been vilified by other countries. At this moment, Ku Hung Ming, who was adept at Chinese and west culture, wrote and came out this book in English.  He used his paper to maintain Chinese culture and change some westerners' views of China. In this book, Mr. Ku compared the Chinese with the American, the Britisher and so on and then pointed out that Chinese folks had four virtues simultaneously which others did not have.  What impresses me most is the content of Chinese language. As Mr. Ku said, Chinese is a kind of language of heart. The ancients could use a few words and sentences to express their feelings and profound meanings and resonate others. We should be proud of our language. As far as I am concerned, some opinions in this book may be one-sided. For example, Mr. Ku stressed so high the status of Confucianism that he ignored the influence of Chinese people's character. In short, we should read this book comprehensively and take in the essence of it.
