杜拉斯《情人》经典开头源自源英国诗人叶芝的诗

法国女作家杜拉斯《情人》小说的开头写道：“对我来说，我觉得现在你比年轻的时候更美，那时你是年轻女人，与你那时的面貌相比，我更爱你现在备受摧残的面容。”

这动人的情话源自英国诗人叶芝在1865年写下的《When You Are Old》
