This translation gives readers an impression that the hero of the work has a great future. As a matter of fact, this great future is ironic. It should be said that the theme of this work is by no means just a story about the disillusionment of the ideal of orphan Pip who wants to be a superior. If this understanding is understood, Dickens will understand the meaning of this work.
