I have read the great Gatsby for the first time.James Katz, the protagonist, is a poor farmer's son in North Dakota who grew up dreaming of becoming a big shot. After some hard work, he rose through the ranks and changed his name to Jay Gatsby. While he was a lieutenant in a military training camp, he fell in love with Daisy Fay, a prominent southern girl.
