  A man can be destroyed but can be no defeated: The strong spirit of the old man support his fight against the fish.He continued his journey doesn't matter how excruciatingly his entire body pained.  Despite of failure from 84 days,the man never appeared to slip into depression and nihilism..he remains optimistic enough to begin another day with lots of hope
