了不起的盖茨比2 和萍
Gatsby had an unforgettable relationship with Daisy, but Gatsby had to go away because of the war. In the distant foreign country, the gunfire of the battlefield, Comrade death, death at any time around the echoes. He could not show frailty, he could not give in to loneliness, he could not surrender to fate, so he needed a dream. Daisy became his dream, a beacon that supported him through the mire
"The Great Gatsby" is multifaceted, and even a single look at the plot and the characters is wonderful. More than that as the main line of love, this story more about the individual's attitude and feelings about what he has, it is these that connect the task together, and love stretches away from here. When Gatsby was in pursuit of Daisy's love, what he was after might be just his own dream, and there was the beauty that Gatsby wanted to see in his dreams, and he was going to keep chasing it. Daisy was Gatsby's dream. We see the great power of dreams, which turn a dandyism youth into a rich man on the east coast. Years later, Poor Boy Gatsby was successful and bought a huge mansion on the other side of the Daisy House in Long I., New York. He dared not rush to visit Daisy, but held a lavish party every day in the hope that one day he would attract Daisy's attention, but Daisy never came. Towards Midnight, Gatsby came out of the lively party and looked at Daisy's house--"It was strange that he stretched his arms out toward the dark water, and even though I was far away from him, I could swear that he was shaking." I could not help looking at the sea-nothing could be seen, except for a green light, small and far, perhaps at the end of a wharf.”
We can finally see that the persistence of the dream has been answered. In Nick's series of recalls and reflections, we learned that Gatsby seemed to realize that Daisy in reality was not as perfect as he had dreamed, but Gatsby was still struggling with reality until he died. Dreams are sometimes pale, and when they are broken, they are so shaken to the heart.
