DO WE?
The book generally states the great qualities of the spirit which only the Chinese people have and the author himself cherished and praised and the book also shows the value of the Chinese civilisation.The first part,Gu emphasized how sensible what Confucius did and what Confucius said are.Gu thought that Ru theory can save the west. I think maybe after I read the Chinese edition,I can deeperly get the true meaning of what the author think and this book.
Maybe some of the opinions that I don't agree of ,but of course,it's a great book that shows how valuable the spirit of the Chinese people have is.And I also think that this book will give reader more thinking of the spirit fo the Chinese people,they may reflect on themselves,asking themselves a question,do they have this spirt which Gu states?
