了不起的盖茨比读后感

未将卫江
The story tells the story of Gatsby through the perspective of the protagonist Nick. In order to pursue money for love, to win love with money, he will die under the gun of others. Through the ruin of Gatsby's pursuit of love dreams, the novel shows the theme of the bursting of the "American Dream" of the younger generation. Gatsby is a young man chasing the American dream. The early American dream means that a hard life can be achieved through hard work, that is, people must prosper through their diligence, courage, creativity and determination. Rather than relying on the assistance of specific social classes and others, the American dream was quietly changing after the end of World War I, and the driving force behind it became a thirst for wealth. In order to get the beloved girl, Gatsby took the risk of selling private wine to gain huge wealth. From then on, she began to sing and dance all day long. The day and night of the banquet of the beloved girl, Daixi, only attracted the attention of Daisy. It reminds me of Zhou Yingwang’s igniting the beacon tower for Bo Xiaozi’s smile. It can be seen that in the United States, where the economy was booming, money worship and comparison were unprecedentedly prosperous: people from all walks of life made unscrupulous means to make money, and rich people spent money like water and poor people's loan consumption blindly. As a result, the economy has become more prosperous, and it is not known that this false prosperity eventually led to the 1933 capitalist world economic crisis and eventually led to World War II. The heroine Daisy is also a representative of human degeneration. Daixi is a socialist. Every night, soldiers come to their homes to attend the banquet. The reason why Daisy follows Gatsby is because Gatsby has deceived her and said that he is rich. After Gatsby left, Daisy immediately made a fuss. Beginning to find a new home, the rich and powerful Tom became his husband, and when Gatsby came back for a long time, Daisy decided to follow Gatsby, and later Daisy killed. Man, Tom offered to use Gatsby’s love for Daisy to blame Gatsby, and Daisy went from Tom. Daisy, like a wall grass, swaying from side to side, which party has to follow which side.  The two secretly exchanged for several years. When Gatsby came back to take away Daisy, he grabbed it. Staying in the West, this is not because of love, but because of possessiveness and face. But after the story, Daisy actually smashed Tom’s love, and Tom immediately pretended to be completely ignorant of the situation, and also helped Daixi to make a plan to marry Gatsby, and the end Gatsby was killed. The two men disappeared quickly and disappeared, and even Gatsby’s funeral did not participate. Tom became the typical representative of the upper class men of that period, using money to deal with everything, spending time outside, searching for love, and having a serious racist mentality. When selfishness swells to the extreme, he can do killing. The human nature is so degraded to such a point! Many other supporting actors in the story also reflect the social status of the United States at the time: Tom’s husband represents the proletarian poor in the United States, living at the bottom of society, serving the rich At the mercy of Gatsby’s father, after his son’s death, he was proud of his son’s possession of such a large house and so much property. He seemed to have forgotten that his son had died: Wolff was only thinking about Gatsby’s life. Gatsby’s money, dumbly after Gatsby’s death, made people feel the indifference and selfishness of American society at the time. The narrator Nick is a bystander. He is not a member of this fallen personality. He tells the story of this happening in the bustling eastern part of the United States from his perspective. After the story, Nick saw the ghosts in the east. The world was cold and set foot on the way to the Midwest. It is worth mentioning that the author Fitzgerald is still under 24 years old when he is famous for his novel "Paradise on Earth". Fitzgerald became a dazzling star in the American literary world overnight. A week later, he married Zelda in New York. Fitzgerald and Zelda are young, charming, with money and fame, and are an enviable golden boy. They are active in the social world of New York, indulging in love, young life and joy of success, living a night of night, singing and intertwined life, and later living in Europe for many years. However, due to the ostentation, their lives are gradually stretched. Zelda was sent to a mental hospital for multiple episodes of mental illness, and Fitzgerald also suffered from alcohol abuse. On December 21, 1940, Fitzgerald died of a heart attack in Los Angeles, only 44 years old. This is really a great irony. Fitzgerald once described the three countries in Europe and America: France is a land, Britain is a nation, and the United States is a heart of a child. People all over the world come to the United States to pursue their own American dreams with a heart of heart, but after that, they are chasing more money, and slowly lose themselves in this economically prosperous and utilitarian society.
