The lecturer will talk about the ear and how the ear works, and then about some of the common ear diseases and some of the methodologies that we currently have to overcome hearing loss and to cop with hearing loss. And finally he'll talk about the future, and the promises that technology has in the coming decades to revolutionize how the ear works in relation to technologies such as computers and telephones and cell phones and how these kinds of things promise to help people with hearing impairment.
