What are the pros and cons of legalizing abortion?

  In my opinion, the advantages of legalizing abortion are as follows. Firstly, it can avoid the birth of some deformed fetuses. Parents can choose to have an abortion if the fetus is found to be abnormal through a pregnancy test. Secondly, for some fetuses brought by unexpected circumstances, such as rape, pregnant women can choose to have an abortion to avoid affecting their normal life. However, legalization of abortion also brings some disadvantages. First of all, when the fetus has formed its own consciousness, abortion may deprive the fetus of life, and there are ethical and moral problems. Secondly, the legalization of abortion may lead to the deterioration of social morality. Some teenagers may hold the view that abortion is very normal and indulge themselves in their sexual behaviors.
