Book Review for China-Ancient Culture, Mordern Society No.3
AlexHby
In summary, I’d like to praise this book for its unique structure as well as its simple as well as clear content. The book is broken down into short segments about Chinese culture, history, and society. It does not read as a completely academic assessment of China, but one can tell it is based on thorough research and the experiences of the authors. It is clearly a book written with passion and a general desire to disseminate information about China in a world so fraught with misconceptions. Though I harshly criticized this book in my first review, I gotta admit that, for a foreigner, this book is exactly what they need to acquire. But for a Chinese reader, it’s not that worth reading.
