《了不起的盖茨比》书评3 YL
Great explorations have been made in the narrative aspect of this book. For one thing, the book breaks down the traditional narrative, which is linear. Second, the narrator is not just the narrator. Nick is not only the narrator of the novel, but also an important role in the novel. He was gatsby's neighbor, Daisy's cousin, Tom's schoolmate, and beck's boyfriend. After Tom dragged Nick to his apartment in New York, the party got drunk. In this part, Nick has a very interesting meditation: under the street lamp, pedestrians walk on the street and see the carnival on the top floor of the apartment. Nick as the character, drunk in the story of the apartment, but at the same time, he is a passer-by outside the window, quietly staring at the story of the apartment.
