The most objective existence of all the problems is always thought to be a young and old-fashioned way. It has, however, been recently discovered that it is no sense to have all the thought of building on no-learning.
I finished reading this book on the train back to school.
Philosophers are often the loneliest and the easiest to be misunderstood by the world. They walk too fast. Looking around, they find that nobody keeps up with them. They think too deeply, but they are often laughed at and misunderstood by their compatriots and students. What a typical example is Gu Hongming. Orientals are more important than righteousness, only then was the birth of the Warring States Period, Westerners are more important than profit, only then wise men of Europe and the United States are brilliant. His advocacy of learning English is to teach those foreign countries the truth of life, gentle and generous poetry. How profound is the possibility of gaining a powerful country from western economic thoughts, without losing the traditional way of saving the country and strengthening the people.
There are too many things when China and the West meet. There are two kinds of reading before: one is that foreign scholars today look at the past Chinese stories from the perspective of research, which is full of compassion for ancient China at best; the other is that today's domestic scholars look at the past Chinese stories from the perspective of reflection, which is full of Chinese logic that I believe they do not understand. Compared with the former, Gu wrote this book with full pride; compared with the latter, Gu wrote it with feeling and time. Although this book has been linked for nearly a hundred years, it is not old at all, because the author is thinking about the prospects for the development of world culture to open his mind in the depth of his mind. Gu Hongming grew up in the essence of human culture. He could find the common concern of the great philosophers for the world.
What is the real purpose of cultural development? So many people have said and paid attention to it. But how many people did it? Dawn came, but the darkness had not passed. In China over the past 100 years, there are still many things that have not really been done. Why do we have to condemn and abuse each other, as well as meaningless competition to consume life? Do something that you can accumulate, even if it is very little.
Gu Hongming is by no means a self-made man, even though he has braids.
