作者简介

鲁伯特·钱纳·布鲁克（1887.8.3-1915.4.23），英国空想主义诗派诗人。在一战期间，其创作了大量优秀的诗歌，《士兵》为其代表作。布鲁克在当时因为他孩童般的长相而被另一位爱尔兰诗人威廉·耶茨称为“英国最英俊的男人”。在1915年，布鲁克因为败血症死于加里波第登陆行动中，死后被葬于希腊的斯基罗斯岛。

Rupert Channer Brooke was an English poet known for his idealistic war sonnets written during the First World War, especially "The Soldier". He was also known for his boyish good looks, which were said to have prompted the Irish poet Wliiam Butler Yeats to describe him as "the handsomest young man in England".
