The lecturer will talk about some of the work that he's doing in particular with respect to coronary stents, which refer to these slotted tubes or metal tubes that we place in coronary arteries,the vessels that bring blood to people's hearts when they are blocked and hopefully prop them open and improve the blood flow and relieve symptoms and help people live longer.
